Motorcycle Pre-Trip Checklist
Have a checklist of items you check before you leave for your trip.
Many of the items on the list will be dependant upon how far you're traveling.
Here's a start:
  1. Change Oil
  2. Make sure you have more than enough tire remaining to make it round trip. A new tire is much less expensive than being stranded in the middle of nowhere with a flat.
  3. It's going to be HOT so change your antifreeze.
  4. Need a seat cover to save your cheeks? There are a number of options.
  5. Have rain gear? You can get a great set for $59.99
  6. Comfortable Gloves? Have more than one pair.
  7. Is your jacket suitable for weather changes? You don't have to spend a ton to get tactical "do it all" riding gear
Make sure you and your ride are ready for the trip.
Best of all we're here for you and we have all these things for you.

April

Check your tire pressure
Early and late in the motorcycle riding season the temperatures change dramatically. Cold mornings and warm days. Checking your tire pressure is critical. Tire at proper temperature will stick better, last longer and offer the rider the best feedback possible at any given time.
Tires should be checked cold. In the morning before you head out for the day.
Consult your manual for the proper tire pressure front and rear.
Then all you have to do is add or remove air to get the the recommended tire pressure.
Check your tire pressure weekly or more often if temperatures change dramatically.
It is the most important thing you can do to get the most out of your bike and tires.
